Placements24 in East London, Eastern Cape, seeks an experienced AI Specialist with a strong focus on Data Engineering and MLOps to build robust data pipelines and ensure seamless deployment of AI/ML models in production. Design scalable data pipelines, implement MLOps, and develop CI/CD workflows while managing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP; ensure data quality and governance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in data engineering, MLOps, or AI/ML context.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and related data/ML services.
• Hands-on containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks and MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow).
• Database and data warehousing knowledge (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with Airflow for data pipelines.
• Excellent problem solving and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for AI/ML applications.
• Implement and manage MLOps processes for deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Develop CI/CD workflows for machine learning models.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for data science teams.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to productionize models.
• Monitor deployed models for performance, drift, and anomalies, retraining as needed.
• Implement and manage infrastructure for model training and serving.
• Contribute to data governance and security policies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and best practices in data engineering and MLOps.
