Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an AI Software Engineer to own and ship the internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems, not model training, and involves building integrations across multiple platforms.

You will create agentic workflows, connect with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, and develop internal tools that reduce manual effort in our design and development processes. Remote work supported for Latin America and South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsabilités

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Develop internal tools to reduce manual hours across design and development workflows.
• Create automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and internal CMS.
• Handle MCP server integrations as part of the AI stack.
