Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to own and ship our automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems on top of AI models; you will not train models but connect components and deploy solutions.

You will work with engineering and delivery leadership to turn a documented roadmap into working automation workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and API integrations with OpenAI or Anthropic. This is remote across Latin America and South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsabilités

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Develop internal tools to reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Create automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• Offer MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.
