Network Finance is seeking an AI Analytics Internal Auditor in Gauteng to transform audits with AI, data analytics, automation and BI solutions. You will collaborate with audit teams and stakeholders to identify risks, trends, and inefficiencies, and to deliver analytics-driven oversight and improved decision-making.

The role blends audit, data science and BI, requiring a technically strong professional capable of building AI models, dashboards and data pipelines while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Informatics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years' working experience, with at least 3 years as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• At least 1 year experience building or supporting AI solutions.
• Experience within Internal Audit, Risk, Governance, or Assurance environments advantageous.
• Reinsurance or Underwriting knowledge advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work in complex and ambiguous environments.
• Strong understanding of risk, controls, and governance principles.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and support AI models that enhance audit efficiency, risk analysis, and business oversight.
• Execute data analytics projects and audit engagements across multiple business areas.
• Identify risks, trends, inefficiencies, and control gaps through advanced analytical techniques.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate insights effectively.
• Build and implement data models to support business and audit objectives.
• Collaborate with audit teams to integrate analytics into audit planning and execution.
• Support the planning and preparation of audit engagements, including scoping and timelines.
• Provide technical expertise on data-related requirements and analytical methodologies.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data analytics and AI.
• Research and implement innovative technologies and analytical approaches to improve audit outcomes.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
