Description / Synopsis

A specialist agricultural opportunity is available for a Senior Agronomist based in Potchefstroom, with a respected industry leader.

The role will suit an experienced agricultural professional who enjoys combining technical knowledge with practical fieldwork and direct engagement with farmers and industry stakeholders. You will provide technical support across assigned product ranges, participate in the evaluation and introduction of new products, and manage agricultural trials from planting through to harvesting and statistical analysis.

This is a hands‑on role for an agronomist who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple activities and contributing technical input within a growing agricultural environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Agricultural Degree or Diploma essential
• Relevant agronomy or agricultural experience
• Practical experience conducting agricultural trials
• Strong agricultural and technical aptitude
• Practical, field-oriented approach to agronomy
• Confident communicator who can engage with both farmers and technical stakeholders
• Heavy vehicle licence will be advantageous
• Willingness to travel when required
