Job summary

Spane4all seeks an intern to act as a liaison with Pannar Agronomy, helping increase market share and strengthen relationships with key operations in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. You will assist Field Agronomists with field tasks, collect product data, support trial evaluation, and provide grower solutions to improve yield and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or Agricultural Science with Data Analytics specialization.
• Knowledge/ experience of crops like maize, sunflower and soybeans is needed.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills are required for teamwork and building strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize agronomic datasets (soil, crop, weather, and yield data).
• Perform statistical analysis and develop predictive models for crop performance and resource optimization.
• Assist in building dashboards and visualization tools for agronomic insight. Support field trials and data collection of trials on maize, sunflower, and soybeans.
• Collaborate with agronomists to translate data findings into actionable recommendations.
