Helderberg Personnel Cc, based in South Africa, seeks an Accountant to maintain financial records and manage day-to-day transactions for the entity. You will ensure accurate posting to day books, supplier and customer ledgers, and the general ledger while supporting the Finance Manager with data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities include monthly payroll, VAT 201, EMP 201 & EMP501, annual tax returns, COIDA, and other finance duties.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Completed articles.
• SAIPA membership advantageous.
• Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and debtor/creditor principles.
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Monitor day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate recording.
• Manage debtors’ and creditors’ ledgers, invoicing and allocations.
• Prepare reports and financial statements; support Finance Manager with analysis.
• Handle monthly payroll system; VAT 201 and EMP 201/EMP501 as required.
• Prepare annual tax returns and COIDA compliance; perform other finance duties as requested.
