KingsleyIrons Recruitment Services CC is seeking an Accounts Controller for a Cape Town–based role in Joostenbergvlakte, Kraaifontein. The role is hands-on, focusing on reconciliations, journals and supporting the accountant with month-end tasks.

Ideal candidates are detail-driven and organised, with strong MS Excel skills and 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience. Experience with Pastel/Xero is preferred, and day-to-day accounting duties will be performed on-site.

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance.

Responsabilidades

• Capture and post journals while ensuring the general ledger remains accurate and up to date
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Oversee daily cashbook functions, including bank, petty cash, credit card and fleet account reconciliations
• Support the accountant with month-end close activities and preparation of basic financial reports
• Provide general financial administration and assist with additional tasks as needed

Our client, an established, successful company in the agriculture sector, is seeking an Accounts Controller to join their Cape Town finance team, based in Joostenbergvlakte, Kraaifontein. This is a hands-on bookkeeping role focused on reconciliations, journals, and supporting the accountant with month-end tasks. Ideal for someone detail-driven, organised, and confident managing day-to-day accounting functions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance

• 3-5 years bookkeeping/accounting experience

• MS Excel experience essential

• Experience in reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Journals

Main Responsibilities:
