Unknown client in the Agricultural sector seeks an Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and oversee day-to-day transactions. You will ensure correct posting to ledgers, manage debtors and suppliers, and work with the Finance Manager to analyse data and produce financial statements.

The role covers payroll, VAT, tax returns and year-end reporting, with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail in a collaborative finance team.

Qualificações

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration – Non negotiable.
• Completed articles
• SAIPA membership will be advantageous
• Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Customer service orientation
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting debtors/creditors principles
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge

Responsabilidades

My client, a well established concern withing the Agricultural industry is looking an Accountant to maintain the financial records and assume the overall responsibility for accurate recording of all day-to-day financial transactions for the entity.

• Monitoring day to day financial transactions
• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
• Manage debtors’ book, suppliers accounts and related administration (invoicing, payment allocation)
• Manage and maintain financial data and records
• Work closely with the Finance Manager to create and analyses financial information
• Create reports and financial statements

Bookkeeper duties

• Monitoring day to day financial transactions

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
