Qualifications

• 3-5 years of practical experience as an Agricultural Technician, specifically with irrigation systems.
• Proven expertise in installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation equipment.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, water management, and soil science principles related to irrigation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and center pivot systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation equipment and infrastructure to identify potential problems and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in pumps, valves, controllers, and distribution networks.
• Calibrate irrigation systems to ensure optimal water application rates and efficiency.
• Assist in the design and planning of new irrigation projects and system upgrades.
• Monitor water usage and soil moisture levels, making adjustments to irrigation schedules as needed.
