Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Agricultural Sales Representative to cover the Benoni region and surrounding areas. You will promote crop protection chemicals, fertilizers and seeds to farmers and agricultural businesses, building strong relationships and offering solutions to improve farming operations.

Key duties include developing sales strategies to hit regional targets, conducting product demonstrations, providing technical advice, and expanding the customer base while processing orders

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in agriculture or related field.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural products, crop science and farming practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
• Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness or related field is advantageous.
