Job summary

JenRecruitment PTY Ltd is seeking a driven Agricultural Sales Representative in the Western Cape to manage and grow a portfolio of agricultural clients. You will build strong relationships with growers, packhouses, and agricultural businesses, tailoring solutions to meet packaging needs while achieving sales targets and GP margins.

You will regularly visit sites, identify new business opportunities, negotiate quotations, and maintain CRM records.

Qualifications

• Proven sales track record in agricultural, packaging, industrial or related sectors.
• Good understanding of agricultural cycles, packhouse operations and fresh produce requirements.
• Experience in new business development, account management and client relationship building.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to work within GP/margin requirements.
• Experience using CRM, task management or sales pipeline platforms.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• High emotional intelligence and customer-service focus.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly to farms, packhouses and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with agricultural clients through regular communication and site visits.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the agricultural sector.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets.
• Prepare and negotiate quotations within agreed pricing and GP margin parameters.
• Maintain accurate lead, client, quotation and sales activity records on the CRM platform.
• Provide proactive client service and resolve issues during seasonal and peak harvesting periods.
