Job summary

Standard Bank Group in South Africa seeks an experienced Global Markets professional to originate, structure and sell cross-asset Structured Products across Africa Regions. You will manage client engagements and develop new products to meet client needs across Africa Regions and International.

The role requires 8+ years of Global Markets client management experience, a strong understanding of cross-asset Structured Products, and collaboration with multiple teams to deliver best-in-class client

Qualifications

• First Degree in Business Commerce, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• 8+ years Global Markets Client Management experience.
• Proficient knowledge of cross-asset Structured Products and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Originate, structure and sell cross-asset Structured Products to clients across Africa Regions.
• Prepare client presentations, trade ideas and other information required for client engagement.
• Maintain regular contact with clients to assess and understand their requirements, broaden existing relationships and grow the Africa Regions & International client base.
• Identify the needs of clients across Africa Regions & International and actively pursue sales opportunities, assisting clients in selecting appropriate products.
• Structure and develop new products and solutions to meet client needs across Africa Regions & International.
• Position Standard Bank as the preferred partner for clients across Africa Regions through market development events, seminars, conferences.
