Job summary

International Facilities Services seeks a senior procurement governance professional to own the control environment, policy framework, and contract lifecycle governance across Africa. You will design policies, ensure compliance, manage risk and drive audit readiness while partnering with Legal, Finance and market leadership.

The role requires 8–12 years in procurement/governance, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel Sub-Saharan Africa; CIPS MCIPS is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Law, Commerce, Risk or equivalent.
• 8 to 12 years’ experience in procurement, governance, contracting, risk, audit or compliance with leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain procurement policy, procedures, standards, templates and governance calendar.
• Own procurement compliance testing, exception management, corrective actions and management reporting.
• Establish contract lifecycle governance from intake to closure and renewal.
• Maintain procurement risk and controls register and coordinate remediation of audit findings.
• Lead and develop staff within applicable labour legislation and drive regular performance reviews.
