Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Head of Operations for the Africa Region to drive strategic growth and operational excellence across multiple markets. You will lead regional managers, align supply chain, logistics, and customer service with ambitious targets, and champion efficiency and governance.

In this senior role you will shape business strategy, manage budgets, and partner with government bodies and key stakeholders to deliver sustainable performance and value across the continent.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive operations management experience, with Africa market exposure.
• Senior leadership experience overseeing multiple countries or regions.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and market dynamics in Africa.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the operational strategy for the Africa Region, driving business growth and market penetration.
• Lead and mentor a team of country and regional operations managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee all aspects of operations, including supply chain, logistics, customer service, and quality control.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, government bodies, and stakeholders across the region.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or International Business
