Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in aircraft performance engineering.
• Strong aerodynamics, thermodynamics and flight mechanics principles.
• Proficiency with performance analysis tools like APIS, MATLAB, FlightGear.
• Data analysis and interpretation of flight test results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed performance analysis of aircraft, including flight envelope, climb, cruise, and descent performance.
• Develop and validate aerodynamic and performance models using specialized software.
• Analyze flight test data to verify performance predictions and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide performance data and recommendations for aircraft design, operation, and certification.
• Collaborate with design engineers and flight test teams to optimize aircraft performance throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure all performance calculations and documentation comply with aviation standards and customer requirements.
