Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in solar PV installation.
• In-depth understanding of solar panel technologies, inverter types, mounting systems, and battery storage solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, site plans, and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of South African electrical regulations and safety standards for PV installations.
• Experience with AC and DC electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform the installation of solar PV systems, including mounting structures, solar panels, inverters and related electrical components at client sites in Centurion, Gauteng.
• Conduct site assessments and system designs with the engineering team.
• Ensure installations comply with electrical codes, safety standards and company practices.
• Perform electrical wiring, connections, and testing for optimal performance and safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Manage inventory of solar equipment and materials for projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
• Educate clients on system operation, maintenance and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
