Placements24 presents an opportunity for an Advanced Manufacturing Process Technician at a state-of-the-art Kimberley facility in Northern Cape. You will oversee operation, maintenance and optimization of CNC machines, robotics and automated lines while driving quality and efficiency improvements.

The ideal candidate has a technical diploma or degree with 3–5 years in a high-tech production environment, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on technician experience in advanced manufacturing.
• Experience with automated machinery, robotics and CNC operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain CNC machines, robotics, and automated lines.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and software issues; troubleshoot efficiently.
• Perform calibration and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement process improvements.
• Assist in setup and validation of new equipment and lines.
• Maintain records of maintenance, performance and output.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace.
• Support training of junior technicians and operators.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
