Placements24 is seeking an Adult Day Care Program Facilitator in Upington to design and lead engaging daily activities for adults, including those with special needs or elderly participants.

The ideal candidate will have a background in social care or related fields and possess strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy to foster social interaction and well-being within the center.

Competenze

• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Gerontology, Recreation Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in facilitating programs for adults, seniors, or individuals with special needs.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and activity planning skills.

About the Role

Our client, a respected provider of adult day care services, is seeking a vibrant and dedicated Adult Day Care Program Facilitator to join their team in Upington, Northern Cape . This role is essential in creating an engaging, supportive, and stimulating environment for adult participants, fostering social interaction, cognitive engagement, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have a background in social care, recreation therapy, or a related field, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with adults, including those with special needs or the elderly.
