Job summary

Gauteng Provincial Government, Department of Community Safety, is seeking a Directorate staff member to lead research policy and information management. The role involves developing research proposals, conducting literature reviews, and producing reports that inform community safety strategies.

The incumbent will coordinate data collection, analyze findings, and support dissemination of results, contributing to evidence-based policy.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 and a recognized bachelor’s degree in social sciences or research.
• 2–3 years’ experience in primary and secondary research.
• Knowledge of research methodologies and tools.

Requirements :

• Grade 12 plus a recognized bachelor's degree in, preferably, the social sciences or research. At least 2-3 years’ experience in primary and secondary research. All valid relevant driving licenses (A and EC). No criminal record or any pending cases against you.Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and appreciation of concepts and application of research methodologies and tools.
