Job summary

A leading manufacturer of catering and baking equipment is seeking an experienced Administration Clerk to join their team in Durban. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as an Administration Officer, proficiency in Pastel Evolution, and be fluent in Afrikaans and English. Responsibilities include general administration duties, managing stock, and preparing reports. This is an opportunity for a self-motivated individual to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as an Administration Officer essential.
  • MUST have experience in Pastel Evolution.
  • At least 2 years proven experience of working with stock.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Afrikaans & English.

Responsibilities

  • General administration duties as required, filing, stationery, etc.
  • Responsible for administration with regards to stock – sales orders and goods transfer.
  • Responsible to load invoices for payments.
  • Following up on payments.
  • Creating, updating and maintaining records and databases.
  • Scheduling management calendar and update as needed.
  • Responsible for petty cash.
  • Preparing reports on expenses, office budgets and other expenditure.
  • Keeping record of Meetings.
  • Sending emails, answer queries from employees and suppliers.
  • Managing of office supplies and placing orders.
