You will empower clients to identify their goals, overcome obstacles, and build a healthier, more fulfilling life. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching to individuals seeking to overcome addiction and maintain sobriety.


• Assist clients in developing personalized recovery action plans, setting realistic goals, and celebrating milestones.


• Offer motivational support and accountability to help clients navigate challenges and avoid relapse.


• Connect clients with appropriate resources, support groups, and therapeutic services.


• Educate clients on relapse prevention strategies and coping mechanisms.

Requirements

• Personal experience with recovery and/or a strong passion for supporting others in their recovery journey.


• Certification from a recognized recovery coaching program is advantageous.


• Excellent listening, empathy, and motivational interviewing skills.


• Understanding of addiction, recovery principles, and available support systems.


• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in the Upington area.
