Job summary

National Renal Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse/Independent Clinical Technologist to deliver acute dialysis care across hospital settings. The role involves operating dialysis equipment, coordinating with nephrologists and nursing teams, and upholding infection control and governance standards.

You will work in critical care units, high care units and general wards, with travel between hospitals within a defined region and after-hours availability as required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with SANC or Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice) registered with HPCSA.
• Post Basic Diploma in Nephrology Nursing would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality acute dialysis care in hospitals.
• Operate dialysis equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate care with nephrologists, physicians and nursing teams.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and clinical governance.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient outcomes during acute care episodes.
