Job summary

The role involves translating product changes into technical specs, implementing automated processes, and collaborating with actuarial, product and IT teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree or Honours in CS, IT, Mathematics or Actuarial Science.
• Experience in life insurance or financial services systems.
• Proven ability to manage complex calculation systems across mainframe and PC environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate actuarial and regulatory changes into technical specs.
• Develop and maintain risk renewal, mortality, valuation and rate calculation programmes.
• Conduct PIT and regression testing of changes.
• Maintain data and code across mainframe, PC and server environments.
• Support batch processing and JCL.
• Document standards and modernise legacy systems.
