The successful candidate will oversee the systems environment, enhance control measures, and support model development. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in actuarial sciences, a minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience, effective communication skills, and knowledge of IFRS17 is highly beneficial. This role is crucial for maintaining system performance and quality.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of legislation – LTIA.
• Knowledgeable on the ASSA Code of Conduct.
• Minimum 3 years of actuarial experience in systems.
• Expert in data and model management.
• Life insurance experience.
• IFRS17 knowledge (highly beneficial).
• All A100 – A200 series technical exams to be completed (essential).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control the systems environment.
• Enhance the control environment.
• Provide valuation system support to various stakeholders.
• Develop and test new products in the actuarial system.
• Provide professional input and support to the group.
• Support model development and analysis across actuarial initiatives.
• Modify data processes to maintain system integrations.
