Morton Moore Pty Ltd, a well-established insurance and financial services provider based in George, Western Cape, is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will develop and refine pricing models, analyze large data sets for trends, and work with actuarial, underwriting, product and marketing teams to align pricing with business goals.
Relocation to George is required and on-site work is non-negotiable.
Qualifications
- Relevant quantitative qualification.
- Experience in pricing analysis, preferably in insurance/financial services.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills with large data sets.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python or R.
Responsabilités
- Develop, maintain and refine pricing models for insurance products.
- Analyse large data sets to identify pricing trends and risk drivers.
- Monitor portfolio performance and adjust pricing for profitability.
- Conduct rate reviews and assess impact on volume and profitability.
- Build dashboards tracking pricing and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, product and marketing teams.
- Benchmark pricing via competitor and market analysis.
- Test and validate pricing structures before implementation.
