Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable principles and collection practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently, including checks, EFT, and credit card payments.
• Generate and send out invoices and statements to customers.
• Monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances and initiate collection efforts.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and customer billing issues.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
