Job summary

University of Fort Hare is seeking a Debtors Controller to join the Finance Team in TechnoPark Stellenbosch. The role requires handling debtors' statements, reconciling accounts and daily bank reconciliation to keep cash flow accurate.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a financial or administrative role and a relevant financial qualification would be an advantage. You will liaise with internal departments and upload and allocate received payments in the system.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a financial or administrative role.
• A relevant qualification will be to the candidate's advantage.

Responsibilities

• Sending out debtors' statements
• Reconciling debtors' accounts
• Daily bank reconciliation
• Uploading and allocating received payments in the system
• Following up on payments with debtors
• Communicating with internal departments regarding debtors' accounts
• Forwarding reports for financing
• Handling ad-hoc debtor inquiries
