Remote Choice is hiring an Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. This remote-from-South Africa role focuses on hands-on transactional finance, with emphasis on reconciliations, ledgers, and accurate processing of customer and supplier transactions.

The position is full-time and permanent, open to candidates in South Africa, working for a growing UK business. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of investigating discrepancies to ensure balances are correct.

Qualifications

• Complete regular Accounts Receivable reconciliations.
• Reconcile customer accounts, invoices, credit notes and payments.
• Investigate unmatched and incorrectly allocated customer payments.
• Maintain the aged receivables ledger and support credit-control activity.
• Reconcile Accounts Payable and supplier statements.
• Process supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Prepare supplier reconciliations and statements.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing UK business that is looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join its expanding finance team.

This is a hands-on transactional finance position with a strong focus on reconciliations and maintaining accurate customer and supplier ledgers.

It would suit someone who takes pride in getting accounts fully reconciled, enjoys investigating discrepancies, and wants to understand why something doesn\'t balance rather than simply processing transactions.
