The position serves as the primary point of contact for key clients, delivering proactive financial and tax advice while guiding a dedicated team of junior and intermediate accountants . Working closely with practice leadership, the incumbent reviews financial statements, streamlines workflow processes through modern technology, and manages statutory SARS and CIPC compliance requirements .

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development: Manage, train, and mentor a small team of junior and intermediate accountants to maintain high operational standards .

Financial Oversight & Review: Review monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and annual financial statements to guarantee accuracy and compliance .

Client Advisory & Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients, offering proactive financial and tax advisory support .

Requirements

Sound knowledge of local South African taxation laws and IFRS for SMEs .

Valid driver's license and own vehicle
