Job summary

Pronel Personnel is offering a 12-month, full-time Accounting Internship in uMhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. Recently qualified B.Com graduates will gain hands-on training across accounting, financial reporting, tax, audit preparation and financial systems.

You’ll work under mentorship from experienced professionals, with exposure to IFRS, VAT, Companies Act and accounting software. This role builds a solid foundation for a successful accounting career.

Qualifications

• B.Com degree with Financial Accounting majors.
• Newly qualified or up to 2 years' experience (internship level).
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical accounting and bookkeeping experience across core areas.
• Assist with bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Support month-end processing and trial balance preparation.
• Assist in cash-flow forecasting and financial reporting.
• Help prepare annual financial statements and tax exposures.
• Learn internal controls and audit working papers.
