Job summary

People Dimension invites a recent BCom Accounting graduate to join an internship program aimed at gaining practical workplace exposure and laying a solid foundation for a career in finance and accounting.

You will support the finance team with basic accounting tasks, develop professional skills, and learn on-the-job through structured mentorship while residing near the mine and arranging your own transport and accommodation.

Qualifications

• Completed BCom Degree in Accounting.
• Computer literate with good general computer skills.
• Must currently be unemployed.
• Must have no formal working experience.
• Must not have completed any previous internship.
• Must have no outstanding bursary commitments requiring a period of service or work-back.
• Must be willing to reside close to the mine.
• Must have own reliable transport or reliable means of transport to and from the workplace.
• Must be willing to arrange and pay for own accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial accounting tasks and day-to-day bookkeeping to support the finance team.
• Gain practical workplace exposure and build a foundation for a career in finance and accounting.
