Job summary

Reinke South Africa is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/Junior Accountant to join our Finance Department in Potchefstroom. The role supports financial reporting, data analysis and reconciliation tasks, helping ensure accuracy and timeliness of statements.

You will perform invoice processing, payments allocations, customer statements, PO processing, stock takes, and assist with year-end tasks. The ideal candidate has an accounting qualification and up to two years of experience, with

Qualifications

• Qualification in accounting or related field preferred.
• 2 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Processing of invoices for all outgoing shipments / credit notes
• Allocating payments to customer accounts
• Resolving customer queries regarding invoices and statements
• Sending customer statements by the due date
• Processing customer orders for spares and printing corresponding pick slips for the warehouse staff
• Processing Purchase Orders and sending it to Suppliers
• Processing goods received vouchers when goods arrive
• Receiving, reviewing and processing all Employee Expense Reports
• Processing supplier invoices
• Adhering to revenue recognition rules
• Assisting with Annual Stock Take
