Overview

Accountant - Remote (Durban or Pietermaritzburg)

A reputable UK client is seeking an experienced ACCA-qualified Accountant with completed ACCA articles. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality service to a diverse client portfolio working alongside a team of both senior and trainee accountants.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns, partnerships and personal tax returns
  • Oversight of workflow, budgeting and planning of work for clients
  • Collaborate closely with managers and partners to ensure client expectations and deadlines are adhered to
  • Any other ad hoc work as required
Requirements
  • ACA ACCA or QBE with at least 3 years experience in a practice environment
  • Excellent communication skills, highly organised with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Experience using Iris would be preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of various accounting software including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
