STADIO invites applications for a Lecturer – Financial Management and Accounting at the Centurion Campus. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching, assessment and student support within the school of commerce, with emphasis on financial management and accounting modules.

The lecturer will contribute to curriculum development, engage in research and published works, and participate in academic citizenship through industry liaison and community engagement.

Formación

• A minimum of an NQF 8 with a specialisation in financial management and accounting.
• Experience lecturing in blended contact/online environments and using LMS and video conferencing.

Responsabilidades

• Lecture and assess contact learning students in financial management and accounting modules.
• Conduct assessments, including marking and moderation.
• Uphold quality assurance standards in teaching and assessment.

Lecturer – Financial Management and Accounting

STADIO higher education is inviting applications for the position of: Lecturer – Financial Management and Accounting.

Purpose: The lecturer is responsible for delivering high‑quality teaching, assessment and student support in the school of commerce at the Centurion Campus, with a focus on financial management and accounting modules. The lecturer will facilitate student learning and success, contribute to the quality and relevance of the curriculum, and engage in research and accredited publication. The role also includes active academic citizenship through industry liaison, community engagement and institutional involvement.

Key responsibilities

Teaching and learning:

• Lecture and assess contact learning students in accounting and financial management modules


• Conduct assessments, including marking and moderation


• Uphold quality assurance standards in teaching and assessment


• Provide academic support to promote student success


• Contribute to curriculum development, review and transformation

Research:

• Produce accredited research publications


• Contribute to thought leadership in the field


• Conduct research for teaching and learning in financial management and accounting

Qualifications and experience

• A minimum of an NQF 8 with a specialisation in financial management and accounting.


• Experience with lecturing in a blended contact learning and online environment, using electronic learning management systems as well as video conferencing, such as Microsoft Teams.


• Relevant industry experience in business, ideally a member of an industry board with a relevant designation
