Job summary

Mediclinic seeks a finance professional to establish and operate processes converting financial information from multiple sources into SAP. You will retrieve data, validate it, and post complex monthly journals for the MCSA Group, while supporting financial process design and master data governance.

The role requires a B.Com with Accounting and at least 5 years in a financial environment; proficiency with SAP is essential.

Qualifications

• B.Com degree with Accounting
• 5 years of working experience in a financial environment
• Experience with SAP Financial System is preferred

Responsibilities

• Retrieve data from stand-alone source systems and validate completeness, then process figures into SAP.
• Prepare and post monthly complex journals for the MCSA Group.
• Process financial entries for entities as requested by management.
• Assist with analysis, design and documentation of processes in Corporate Office Finance.
• Assist data steward tasks for financial master data management.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To establish, maintain and perform the processes where financial information originating from different source systems or as per specific group calculations is processed into SAP

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• To retrieve information from stand-alone source systems, validate completeness and process financial figures into SAP
• To calculate and process monthly complex journals for the MCSA Group
• To process financial entries for companies on request of management
• To assist with the analysis, design and documenting of processes in the Corporate Office Financial Department
• To assist with data steward functions for financial master data management

Required Education

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

• B.Com degree (with Accounting as a suject)

Required Experience

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENE:

• 5 years of working experience in a financial environment

Desired Education

• 10 years of relevant working experience in a financial environment.
