Job summary

Innovazi Consulting (Pty) Ltd. seeks an experienced Accountant to manage the accounting function for the Group's non-trading entities, including the Shared Services company, and to oversee financial accounting, reconciliations, month-end processes, reporting and statutory compliance.

The role requires a BCom in Accounting and 5–7 years' experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment. Fluency in English and Afrikaans is preferred.

Qualifications

• BCom degree in Accounting or related qualification.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience with VAT and statutory returns.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial accounting transactions for the Group.
• Process journals and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform bank, account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage month-end, quarterly and year-end accounting processes.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and management analysis.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare VAT submissions and other statutory returns.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting function for the Group's non-trading entities, including the Shared Services company, and will oversee financial accounting, reconciliations, month-end processes, reporting and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial accounting transactions.


• Process journals and maintain the general ledger.

Requirements
