Job summary

OVK Bedryf BPK seeks an organized administrative professional to ensure accuracy in irrigation purchases and product data, with timely follow-up and reliable AS400 price and order data for the irrigation team.

The role includes daily support to the Purchasing Manager and Product Series Manager, managing purchase orders, supplier price lists, and stock-related documentation while collaborating across branches and finance to resolve queries efficiently.

Qualifications

• Matric; administrative, purchasing or stock qualification beneficial.
• Preferably 2–3 years administrative experience in purchasing, stock or agricultural trade.
• Knowledge of AS400 and irrigation products an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support to the Purchasing Manager and Product Series Manager.
• Create, check, document, and follow up on purchase orders and outstanding orders.
• Maintain and verify supplier price lists, costs, and selling prices on AS400 according to approved authorisations.
• Record and follow up on supplier, stock, delivery and warranty claims until completion.
• Track credit notes, returns, delivery receipts and differences between orders, receipts and invoices.
• Prepare stock, price, claim and outstanding order reports and distribute timely.
• Maintain product and supplier records, documentation and electronic files.
• Liaise with branches, distribution centres, suppliers and finance to resolve queries quickly.
• Escalate delays, price variances and unresolved claims promptly.
