Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled 5G Network Deployment Specialist to join our client’s operations team in Rustenburg, North West. This hands-on role oversees deployment and integration of 5G networks, with focus on RAN and core network elements, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines.

You will manage end-to-end deployment, perform integration and testing, coordinate site acquisition, and work with vendors and field technicians.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of mobile network deployment experience (LTE/5G).
• Hands-on experience with RAN equipment from major vendors.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP standards and mobile network architecture.
• Proficiency with network testing tools and methodologies.

About the Role

Our client, a global leader in telecommunications infrastructure, is seeking a highly skilled 5G Network Deployment Specialist to join their operations team in Rustenburg, North West . This is a critical, hands-on role focused on the successful deployment and integration of next-generation 5G network technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with RAN (Radio Access Network) and core network elements, coupled with a deep understanding of 5G standards and protocols. You will be responsible for overseeing the physical and logical deployment of 5G sites, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project timelines. This position requires a proactive approach, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex deployment projects in a demanding environment. The role is based in Rustenburg and requires regular on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the end-to-end deployment of 5G network infrastructure, including site acquisition, equipment installation, and commissioning.
