Excellerate Services is seeking an experienced Command Centre Operations Manager to lead a technology-enabled, 24/7 Command Centre in KwaZulu-Natal. You will balance operational leadership with data analytics, workforce optimisation and process improvement to enhance service delivery and productivity.

The role requires proactive, analytical leadership, strong people management and the ability to challenge processes to achieve better outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• 5–8 years in operational roles, 3+ in management/senior supervisory positions.
• Experience in high-volume 24/7 environments (security, facilities, logistics, telecoms).
• Experience leading teams across shifts, rostering, attendance and deployments.
• Experience in incident management, escalation, SLAs and performance reporting.
• Exposure to CCTV, alarm monitoring, tracking or similar technologies.
• Experience creating and maintaining SOPs.
• Relevant operational/security/business qualifications are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day Command Centre operations and ensure service level delivery.
• Lead and develop operators, supervisors and support teams across shifts.
• Oversee workforce planning, rostering, attendance and deployments for optimal staffing.
• Identify staffing gaps and risks, take corrective action.
• Oversee incident management, escalation and reporting within timeframes.
• Manage remote monitoring activities (CCTV, alarms, patrols).
• Analyze performance, identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for consistent practices and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve challenges and drive accountability.
• Recruit, train and coach Command Centre personnel and manage performance and disciplinary matters.
