Job summary

Imizizi is seeking an experienced ABAP developer with 5–8 years in DevOps for commercial/retail IT apps. You will work on ABAP development, performance tuning, and OO design within an Agile team, using Confluence and JIRA for planning.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of DevOps experience in commercial/retail IT applications.
• Strong ABAP development skills with proven programming track record.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented design paradigms.
• Experience with test-driven development methodologies.
• Strong data retrieval and code performance understanding.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
• SAP Solution Manager exposure a plus.
• Modern ABAP knowledge advantageous.
• SAP MM/APO exposure advantageous.
• SAP S/4HANA exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Roles include DevOps operations, configuration, and development activities for commercial/retail end-user IT apps.
• Develop and extend ABAP applications with a focus on performance and maintainability.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and TDD practices.
• Collaborate within Agile teams and participate in sprint activities.
• Leverage Confluence/JIRA for planning and tracking work.
• Engage with SAP Solution Manager where applicable.
• Stay current with Modern ABAP and SAP S/4HANA concepts.
