Job summary

Chevron is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its SCM team in Venezuela. You will handle procurement of materials, equipment and services, manage purchase orders, bids, negotiations and contracts, and support logistics by land, sea and air.

The role requires a two-year degree in technical or administration areas, proficiency in English, and experience with SCM ERP systems. Preferred: 2+ years of procurement experience and strong analytical skills using MS Office, Power BI and Power Apps.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English; strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with any Supply Chain Management ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, equipment and services; manage purchase orders, bids and contracts to ensure best total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate with internal users to plan material needs and ensure on-time delivery across logistics.
• Negotiate with suppliers and support contract development and compliance tasks.
