Chevron Venezuela invites applications for an Engineer, Wells position assigned to PetroPiar JV, based in El Tigre, Edo. Anzoátegui. The role focuses on technical drilling and completion engineering, including well design, cost estimates, and project planning.

Expect to lead medium-scale projects and collaborate across G&G, performance, and real-time centers. Ideal candidates have 15+ years in well engineering, proficiency with WellPLAN/StressCheck/Compass, and strong Spanish language skills.

Formación

• More than 15 years of experience in Well Engineering Design and Operations, including horizontal/extended reach wells; cycle steam injection is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient with WellPLAN, StressCheck, Compass and other D&C simulation tools.
• Field experience in drilling/completion operations required.
• Strong risk management, hydraulics, and real-time problem-solving skills.
• Spanish proficiency (reading/writing/speaking) is essential for this role.

Responsabilidades

• Perform drilling and completion engineering for wells, including design and cost estimates.
• Lead medium-scale projects and support operations with engineering analyses.
• Collaborate with G&G, performance, and real-time centers; participate in peer reviews and risk assessments.
• Deliver well designs, time/cost estimates, and benchmarking across assets.
• Mentor other drilling engineers and ensure compliance with company standards.
