Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer (Python) to build and maintain scalable backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure. You will own API design and data modeling for web and mobile products, working on a hands-on team that releases features from design through deployment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in backend engineering, strong Python, experience with AWS Serverless, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, plus Docker/Kubernetes/ECS familiarity and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of backend engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Implement features end to end from design to deployment.
• Build and consume APIs used by web and mobile apps.
• Work with containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Model data across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
