Job summary
BairesDev is seeking a Principal Python Engineer to own backend design and implementation for scalable, consumer-facing systems. You will shape APIs, data models, and infrastructure, collaborating with product and design teams to deliver robust services at scale.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
- Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
- Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
- Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.
- Design APIs consumed by web and mobile applications.
- Build infrastructure as code to support consistent, repeatable deployments.
- Design microservices and event-driven systems that scale with demand.
- Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
