Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer – Python to design and build scalable backend services powering products used by millions of users. You will own features end to end, influence architecture, and guide best practices across distributed teams.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of backend engineering experience with Python, strong AWS Serverless knowledge (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway), and proficiency with PostgreSQL/DynamoDB.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with Python.
• Strong experience with AWS Serverless services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes or ECS.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Staff Backend Engineer – Python at BairesDev

In this role, you'll bring deep technical expertise to the backend systems behind products serving millions of collectors. This is a hands‑on position where your judgment on architecture and design directly raises the bar for the whole team. What You'll Do

• Design and build backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
