The role requires extensive experience on large-scale airport developments, with a contractor/EPC background, and strong leadership to drive commercial success and strategic growth in aviation projects.

• Contractor-side or EPC project delivery experience.
• Expertise in project execution, commercial management, procurement, and risk mitigation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide executive leadership for large-scale airport construction and infrastructure projects.
• Direct all aspects of project execution from mobilization through commissioning and handover.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, procurement, commercial, planning, contracts and project controls.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies aligned with contractual requirements and business objectives.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule, cost, and profitability targets are met.
• Oversee airport terminal, airside infrastructure, runways, taxiways, and utility networks.
• Manage client relationships and interface with stakeholders, authorities, and operators.
• Drive contract administration, claims management and variation control.
• Review procurement strategies, resource deployment, and forecast accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international aviation standards.

UCC Holding is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Director - Airports to lead the execution, management, and successful delivery of major airport infrastructure and aviation projects. This executive leadership position is ideal for professionals with extensive experience managing large-scale airport developments from a contractor or EPC perspective, including airport terminals, runways, taxiways, airside infrastructure, utilities, and associated facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, operational leadership, and commercial oversight to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for large-scale airport construction and infrastructure projects.
• Direct all aspects of project execution from mobilization through commissioning and handover.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams covering engineering, construction, procurement, commercial, planning, contracts, and project controls.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies aligned with contractual requirements and business objectives.
• Ensure projects achieve key performance targets related to safety, quality, schedule, cost, and profitability.
• Oversee airport terminal construction, airside infrastructure, runways, taxiways, aprons, utility networks, support facilities, and associated aviation works.
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary executive interface with stakeholders, consultants, authorities, and aviation operators.
• Drive commercial performance, contract administration, claims management, variation control, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Review and approve procurement strategies, subcontracting plans, resource deployment, and project forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international aviation standards, HSE requirements, and project specifications.
• Lead project reviews and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery objectives.
• Support business development, bid preparation, and strategic growth initiatives within the aviation sector.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in major construction and EPC projects
• Minimum 10 years in senior leadership positions managing large-scale airport or aviation infrastructure developments
• Proven track record delivering airport terminals, runways, taxiways, airside infrastructure, aviation facilities, and transportation projects
• Strong contractor-side or EPC project delivery experience
• Extensive expertise in project execution, commercial management, contracts, procurement, project controls, and construction operations
• Experience managing multi-billion-dollar projects and large multidisciplinary teams
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and strategic decision-making skills
• International project experience preferred

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline
• Master's Degree or MBA preferred
• PMP, PE, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent professional certifications are advantageous
