We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to lead and manage all procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services. The successful candidate will develop procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and support project execution while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business and project objectives.
• Lead sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, and contract award processes.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement best practices.
• Coordinate closely with project, engineering, finance, and logistics teams.
• Manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, legal requirements, and ethical procurement standards.
• Assess procurement risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead and mentor procurement team members to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7-15 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in Construction, Industrial Projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and MS Office applications.
• Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• CIPS Certification or equivalent procurement certification.
• Experience managing large-scale international procurement activities.
• Strong understanding of local and international supplier markets.
