Job summary

You will prepare technical documentation, participate in HAZOP, and contribute to capital projects from concept to commissioning while mentoring junior engineers in a safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in large-scale chemical or petrochemical plants.
• Strong process design, evaluation, and optimization of PFDs and equipment specs.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (Aspen/HYSYS or similar).
• Experience with safety and environmental regulations; HAZOP knowledge.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities for design, optimization, and troubleshooting of production units.
• Analyze process data, identify performance gaps, and propose technical improvements.
• Support implementation of modifications to increase yield, efficiency, and reliability.
• Prepare and review technical documentation; participate in HAZOP and risk assessments.
• Contribute to capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
