Job summary

Scociatech Limited is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to design and deliver end-to-end data products across international markets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytics, data transformation, and modeling layers using Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow, and cloud services.

The role demands strong technical leadership, mentorship, agile delivery, and effective communication with our Canada HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4-6+ years designing, building, and delivering analytical, data, or software solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC; cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience designing scalable data models, data transformation frameworks, and analytical data products.
• Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform technologies (BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions).
• Experience with modern data engineering practices, Big Data tech, and enterprise data warehousing.
• Experience in Agile environments using GitHub, Jira, Confluence.
• English at B1+ level to collaborate with HQ in Canada.

What will you do?

• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

• Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end analytical solutions, supporting data integration, transformation, analytics, modeling, and data delivery across International Banking markets.
• Own and enhance the data transformation and modeling layers of data products, ensuring alignment with enterprise data standards, architecture principles, and business objectives.
• Apply technologies such as SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership by establishing development standards, promoting reusable components and best practices, and mentoring Associate Analytics Developers.

What do you need?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4-6+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering analytical, data, or software solutions in analytics engineering, data engineering, software engineering, or related technical roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable data models, data transformation frameworks, and analytical data products.
• Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform technologies, including BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions, and related cloud services.
• Experience working with modern data engineering practices, Big Data technologies, and enterprise data warehousing methodologies.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment and using tools such as GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Have a B1+ level of English, because you will work hand in hand with our headquarters in Canada.
